"ICON BHARAT" is a 2 days International Conference on Bridging Heritage Ancient Research & Advanced Technologies on 31st Aug & 1st Sep 2024, conducted in T-Hub, Hyderabad. Filled with events and initiatives to bridging Sanatana (Ancient S&T) and Sanootana (Modern S&T). Offering a comprehensive line-up of events, seminars, workshops, industry meets, entrepreneurship opportunities, and exhibitions, all focused on spotlighting the profound heritage of Vedic wisdom and its contemporary significance.
The Object
We are confident that most of the traditional concepts in the Vedic treatise can be put to practical use and can extend the frontiers of Knowledge in Aeronautics and treatises can bring immense benefits to our Nation and Mankind in general
Many eminent scientists have encouraged us to make further efforts and make the concepts Operational so that a series of benefits can be generated from the Research on Vedas and shastras.
The proposed “International conference on Bridging Heritage Ancient Research & Advanced Technologies (ICON BHARAT) will allow us to create an international awareness and approval for the glory of Vedic Sciences and motivate an Exchange of Information across the continents.
The Theory
Contributions emanating from the Ancient Treatises would provide the Theoretical Framework for the development of a Unitary Body of Knowledge, incorporating the best of ancient and modern sciences in the field of Metallurgy, Materials, Chemistry and other disciplines.
The endeavor of SRIVT is to bring this highly valuable Ancient Sciences (documented in Sanskrit) to light and in a form and context, which would enable the perusal of these ideas by Modern day thinkers and scientists. We request you all to consider the possibilities for productive collaboration between our institutions so that we can pool our skills and talents for effective Contributions to Society.
Gap in understanding
The Achievements of the Indian Seers and Rushies in the metaphysical and spiritual sciences have won worldwide attention and appreciation. However, the spectacular achievements of such seers in the sphere of Physical Sciences have not received due attention and recognition. Over the years, there was a resistance on the part of Mainstream Scientists to acknowledge the achievements of ancient Indian scientists in the area of physical Sciences. It is heartening to note that during the recent years, there has been a change in this stand and there is a willingness to explore avenues for collaborative effort between the adherents to the paths of Vedic and Mainstream Sciences.
Government of India through Ministry of Education established centers for ‘Indian Knowledge Systems” in prominent academic institutions like IIT’s and NIT’s since 2020. We believe that the Time has come when Scientists, both Vedic and Modern, must interact with each other on a Common Platform with the intention of filling the Gaps in the Knowledge Structures required to bridge these two great branches of Science.
Unveiling the Legacy: India's Vedic & Scientific Riches
Many Research Organisations in foreign countries have already recognized that Ancient India is a treasure house of knowledge, not only in the Spiritual arena, but also in the areas of Modern Sciences like Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Astronomy and other Sciences which are the Key Branches of Knowledge, with a great potential to contribute to the Material Prosperity of Mankind in the 21st Century.
Germany is already much forward in utilizing Vedic technology as a whole -entire world and now NASA is tailing it. Russia did many research works on Vedic Sciences.
Need of the day
Scholars in the Ancient Sciences are handicapped by a shortage of funds and infrastructure required for the validation of their findings and translation of Conceptual Knowledge into State-of-the-Art Technology.
While many Mainstream (Modern) Scientists are receptive to the ideas of Vedic Technology, lack of mastery over Sanskrit language and lack of access to the Ancient Treatises and the absence of a Commonly Accepted Terminology has been placing Obstacles in the process of Building Bridges between these two closely related branches of science.
In this context there is a need for the creation of common Platform for the fruitful interaction between the Exponents of Mainstream and Vedic Knowledge.
This ICON BHARAT, now planned, will be a Unique
Opportunity for bringing together the stalwarts in both Exponents of Mainstream
and Vedic Knowledge. and also bring to the view of the public, our indigenous
and native contributions to Science and Technology
Purpose of this Conference
We believe that the time is ripe for the conduct
of research for the above stated purpose where Scientists and Scholars from
various branches of Science, Ancient and Modern can address themselves to the
task of
Identifying Areas which can be explored for
conversion into Appropriate Technologies promising a stream of Innovative
Products and Services.
Identifying the specific Gaps in Knowledge and
Information needing collaborative effort.
Working for the development of an Appropriate
Technology which can facilitate Interaction between Scientists from these Two
streams of Scientific Knowledge.
Exploring avenues for international co-operation
and Joint ventures for the above Objective.
This as we happily exclaim, ICON BHARAT is happening for the first time in India that a Vedic research institute sharing support and expertise with some of the top institutes that are pioneering in the scientific research, some of IIT MADRAS, IIT BOMBAY, IIT DELHI and several DRDO institutions including ISRO.
This as we show, is just the beginning towards establishing a common platform for ancient and modern sciences for creating unified technology that caters to the needs of every individual in his day-to-day life as well as for the benefit of the whole world.
We believe that at this stage of progress, we request for there is a need for Assistance with prestigious Mainstream Scientific Institution having Human and Material Resources of a high order to bring into fruition the efforts of our Institution.
